Who we are
One product, made properly
CloudFloor is a premium baby play-mat brand, incorporated in the UK and shipping worldwide. We make one thing: a single-piece foam play mat for babies 0–24 months learning to roll, do tummy time, sit and crawl on hard flooring — parquet, tile, laminate.
Our positioning is simple and, as far as we can tell, unowned: verifiable thickness combined with a genuinely adult- and child-friendly, Scandinavian design. We confirmed that gap through a lot of market and competitor research. Everyone else seemed to have picked a side — a thin mat that looks good in photos, or a chunky one you'd want to hide.
We didn't want to pick a side. So we built a mat that is both properly cushioned and something you're happy to leave out in a room you both use.

Most play mats on the market are 1–3.5 cm. Our 5 cm core is the real differentiator: a properly cushioned surface for a baby who is rolling onto their back or losing balance while learning to sit. It stays our flagship.

Equally legitimate
The 3 cm is a lighter, thinner alternative for buyers who prefer it — easier to lift, move between rooms and store. It is not a fallback. It has the same waterproof velvet-touch cover, the same non-slip base, the same high-density foam and the same safety, quality and durability standards. Only the core thickness differs.

What it's actually made of
A high-density foam core does the cushioning and holds its shape — it doesn't pack down flat after a few months of use. Over it sits a waterproof velvet-touch cover: soft underfoot, warm on cold floors, and completely sealed so spills bead on the surface and wipe away rather than soaking through.
The whole thing is one continuous piece. No interlocking tiles to work loose, no seams for crumbs, dust or damp to collect in. Underneath, a non-slip base keeps it planted on smooth floors so it doesn't skate away mid-crawl.
Every mat is certified according to compliance and CE-marked, and tested to the EN 71 toy-safety standard.
